Opening of new Museum of Modern Art building coming soon

2024-10-10

The Museum of Modern Art will open its new location on October 25. The celebration will last three weeks, and visitors will be able to take part in more than 100 diverse events. On opening day, we will be able to see several multi-scale sculptures and installations by Polish and international artists, including Magdalena Abakanowicz, Alina Szapocznikow, Sandra Mujinga, Monika Sosnowska, and Cecilia Vicuna. The program is supplemented by performance events, concerts, events for children, a film marathon and another edition of the WARSAW UNDER CONSTRUCTION festival.

There are also new works in the Museum’s collection, including Karolina Jablonska’s multi-scale painting “Jars 2024.” Together with Panattoni, we are the funders of this work. We are pleased to have been able to enrich the MSN’s collection and thus support Polish art.

We congratulate Joanna Mytkowska, director of the MSN, and the entire team for the years of preparation of the new museum for Warsaw and its residents.

The MSN building is part of the New Center of Warsaw. It is a project of changes being implemented in the Downtown, which aims to transform the space into a more friendly, comfortable and green one. This transformation will develop cultural, entertainment, retail and service offerings for residents.
