Robert Dobrzycki Foundation supported Dr. Maciej Kawecki's team during Nobel Week visit

We are proud to announce that the Robert Dobrzycki Foundation supported Dr. Maciej Kawecki's team on a visit to this year's Nobel Week.

Dr. Kawecki's team met with Nobel Prize winners in physics, chemistry and economics and spoke with artificial intelligence pioneers John Hopfield and Geoffrey E. Hinton. We are sure that the invitation of The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences to such a prestigious event testifies to the essence of the Polish voice and opinion in the world of science.

Dr. Maciej Kawecki combines his passion for science with establishing a dialogue with the world's outstanding minds, while supporting Polish talents and their development on the international stage. We congratulate you on your activity so far and look forward to more opportunities to meet and collaborate!

Robert Dobrzycki Foundation in the Wszyscy Do Wioseł event

Behind us is the seventh edition of the Wszyscy Do Wioseł action organized by the Legia Foundation and the Kochasz Dopilnuj Foundation. This sports-charity event joined forces in the fight for health and education about cancer prevention.

Every day in Poland, cancer affects hundreds of people, and early detection can save lives. Funds raised during the campaign will be used for educational programs, workshops for young people and materials that teach how to recognize worrying changes.

Thank you to the organizers and participants for the great atmosphere and commitment!

Robert Dobrzycki Foundation promotes outstanding Poles

The Foundation is a young entity - we have been active since June, but we have already managed to implement a number of projects, including the presentation of two “Hummingbird” awards, says Malwina Pawlowska, managing director of the Robert Dobrzycki Foundation, in an interview behind the scenes of the meeting of the winners of the Forbes Poland “30 Under 30” list.

We encourage you to watch the entire interview, in which Malwina talks more about our mission, the competencies of the future, cooperation with artificial intelligence and the enormous potential of the younger generation: LINK.

The first "Hummingbird" awards were presented!

During the Panattoni Gala, we presented two “Hummingbirds” - awards to individuals with extraordinary talent and determination to achieve their goals. Hummingbird is a symbol of crossing boundaries, reaching for what seems impossible.
The first “Hummingbird” was presented to Katarzyna Ratajczak - a violinist who was admitted to the prestigious Royal College of Music in London. This is the fulfillment of her dreams and the next step in an extremely promising musical career. We also had the pleasure of hearing her perform at the Gala - it was a magical experience.
We handed over the second “Hummingbird” to Dr. Katarzyna Muras-Szwedziak - a specialist in internal medicine and nephrology, who is in the process of specializing in rheumatology. Dr. n. med. Muras-Szwedziak founded the first Rare Disease Outpatient Clinic (Poradnia Chorób Rzadkich) for adults in Poland and deals with the diagnosis of patients on a daily basis. Her work includes exceptional scientific achievements and a huge contribution to the development of medicine and the education of future generations of doctors as a respected lecturer.

We are proud that through the “Hummingbird” awards, we can support individuals who promote Poland and, like the hummingbird, seek new ways and inspire us all to reach for more!

Visiting the museum

A new chapter for artistic Warsaw begins this weekend, and we are part of it! Just before the opening of the new building of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, we visited it together with our founder Robert Dobrzycki. This place opens a new space for creativity and artistic dialogue in the Polish capital. As the Robert Dobrzycki Foundation, in cooperation with Panattoni Poland, we are part of this historic moment. The MSN will present the work we jointly funded - Karolina Jablonska's large-scale painting “Słoiki 2024” (Jars 2024). See you at the Museum!

Meet Karolina Jabłońska

Where did the idea to paint jars or maybe “jars” come from? Can jars be a work of art in the collection of the most anticipated museum in Warsaw? We can find answers to these questions in an article in Wysokie Obcasy, which introduces us to Karolina Jabłońska, the author of the painting “Jars 2024.” The artist talks about her inspirations and motives in her work. She is considered by many to be one of the most interesting and sought-after Polish painters of her generation. We encourage you to read the entire article: https://bit.ly/obraz-karoliny-jablonskiej.

The painting, which is more than seven meters long, will hang in the cafe of the Museum of Modern Art. We will be able to see it from the opening day, Friday, October 25. Together with Panattoni, we are the founders of this work.

Opening of new Museum of Modern Art building coming soon

The Museum of Modern Art will open its new location on October 25. The celebration will last three weeks, and visitors will be able to take part in more than 100 diverse events. On opening day, we will be able to see several multi-scale sculptures and installations by Polish and international artists, including Magdalena Abakanowicz, Alina Szapocznikow, Sandra Mujinga, Monika Sosnowska, and Cecilia Vicuna. The program is supplemented by performance events, concerts, events for children, a film marathon and another edition of the WARSAW UNDER CONSTRUCTION festival.

There are also new works in the Museum's collection, including Karolina Jablonska's multi-scale painting “Jars 2024.” Together with Panattoni, we are the funders of this work. We are pleased to have been able to enrich the MSN's collection and thus support Polish art.

We congratulate Joanna Mytkowska, director of the MSN, and the entire team for the years of preparation of the new museum for Warsaw and its residents.

The MSN building is part of the New Center of Warsaw. It is a project of changes being implemented in the Downtown, which aims to transform the space into a more friendly, comfortable and green one. This transformation will develop cultural, entertainment, retail and service offerings for residents.

Comprehensive help from Panattoni and the Robert Dobrzycki Foundation

The catastrophic flooding that hit southern Poland caused massive devastation, but also united the community and business world around helping those affected.

- The flood is a huge tragedy that we could not look on indifferently. Panattoni and related organizations were quick to get involved in relief efforts at various levels. As early as September 15, we donated PLN 200,000 to a collection launched by the Polish Business Council. We also made our warehouses available for aid distribution,” says Robert Dobrzycki, president and co-owner of Panattoni.

Due to the huge scale of the losses, in the short term the Robert Dobrzycki Foundation has allocated an additional PLN 250,000 to a collection organized by Corporate Connections. All funds are being distributed locally, in cooperation with the authorities of Lower Silesia, for necessary supplies, repairs and reconstruction of the damaged infrastructure. The coordination is the responsibility of the Aid HUB, which ensures that the activities are effective and run smoothly. Panattoni and the Foundation also supported Radio 357's collection for the reconstruction of a nursery and kindergarten in Oldrzychowice Klodzkie.

The developer didn't just limit itself to financial support. A group of volunteers from the #PanattoniTeam and friendly entities - the Robert Dobrzycki Foundation, Blue Assets, Harden Construction and Newport Logistics Fund - headed to Klodzko to support local communities with direct actions. On September 23 and 24, 21 volunteers from the Poznan, Warsaw and Katowice regions helped clean up the flood-damaged Sports and Recreation Center in Klodzko.

- This center was completely flooded. It was there that we were directed by the local authorities, to whom I reported our group's readiness to help,” says Malwina Pawlowska, managing director of the Robert Dobrzycki Foundation.

- The sight was cruel, but our group was well equipped and prepared. We tore off plaster, hauled away debris and dismantled the parquet floor in the sports hall, where matches had been held just a week earlier. Our assistance would not have been so effective without the local coordination of Sylwia Bielawska and director Bogdan Bochmatiuk, - says Malwina Pawlowska.

- On behalf of myself and all the volunteers, I wanted to appeal to the companies to also help in this way. There are people in place who are hurt, tired, but all the time working to clean, repair and someday return to normal. Presence and physical help - there on the spot is now precious,” adds Malwina Pawlowska.

- Helping is not a sprint, but a marathon. With the combined forces of volunteers, financial and logistical support, we have a chance to contribute to the reconstruction of the destroyed sites and help people return to normal life,” concludes Robert Dobrzycki.

Inauguration of the academic year at Kozminski University

This year's inauguration of the academic year was special for us for two reasons. Together with Pannatoni and the Foundation for the Development of Kozminski University, we awarded 5 scholarships and 2 honorable mentions that make it possible to study at this exceptional university.

ALK's scholarship and mentoring program includes various forms of support and funding for education for future students. This initiative, supported from the very beginning by Panattoni as the university's strategic partner and our foundation, enables young talents to develop and gain knowledge.

A special moment at this year's ceremony was the presentation of the Leon Kozminski Academy medal to Robert Dobrzycki, in recognition of his faith in the university and his contribution to business education at the European level. This is a unique award, which has been given to only 28 people in the university's 31-year history.

We wish all students an inspiring academic year!

Nike Literary Award 2024

The Nike Literary Awards have been presented. The ceremony was attended by Robert Dobrzycki, who presented the Readers' Nike Award to Michał Witkowski, author of “Wiara. Autobiografia”. This competition, of which we are a patron, is a reflection of the mission of our Foundation, which is the broad promotion of Poland's cultural achievements.

We congratulate the winners and encourage you to read!
