Help for flood victims in Kłodzko

To support the communities most affected by the floods, our group of volunteers traveled to Klodzko. The local emergency staff directed us to help clean up the Sports and Recreation Center. The place, which until recently was bustling with activity, now needs a major overhaul.
We would like to thank Ms. Sylwia Bielawska for the efficient coordination of activities at the site, the resort Moje Miejsce - odpocznij i zintegruj zespół blisko natury for providing accommodation for the volunteers, and Mr. Bogdan Bochmatiuk and the OSiR Klodzko team for their excellent cooperation and atmosphere, despite the difficult circumstances. Bows to the staff of OSiR Klodzko and OSP Widawa for their determination and perseverance!
Thanks also to all the volunteers from Panattoni, Blue Assets, Newport Logistics Fund and Harden Construction who supported our campaign.

Robert Dobrzycki Foundation on Radio 357

Should philanthropy be part of business strategy? Who really benefits from it and who preys on it? What place should charity have in today's world? We discussed these questions on the Firmament program of Radio 357, hosted by Jaroslaw Sroka. The Robert Dobrzycki Foundation was represented by Malwina Pawlowska, accompanied by Agnieszka Sawczuk (Filantropea) and Monika Krzyzanowska (One Day Foundation). We invite you to listen to the broadcast at the link: radio357/firmament.

We support flood victims

The floods that hit southern Poland and other European countries at the end of September caused enormous damage, and thousands of people are in urgent need of support. The Robert Dobrzycki Foundation has donated 250,000 PLN to a donation collection organized by Corporate Connections. The funds will be used to purchase essential supplies, make repairs and rebuild damaged infrastructure. This is just the beginning - we are also planning long-term involvement in support programs.

Meet the first grantee of the Robert Dobrzycki Foundation

Katarzyna Ratajczak has become the first recipient of a scholarship from the Robert Dobrzycki Foundation. Kasia is a talented violinist, currently a student of the violin class at the Academy of Music in Lodz and music therapy at the Academy of Music in Wroclaw. As of September, she will begin studying at the prestigious Royal College of Music in London. We are happy to be able to help Kasia realize her dream. Get to know Kasia by watching the video below.

Robert Dobrzycki Foundation x Museum of Modern Art

The next project of the Foundation is a collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art. With the charity’s support, a large painting entitled ‘Jars 2024’ by Karolina Jabłońska, a painter from the younger generation, is to be on permanent display in the Museum’s new building.

Karolina Jabłońska (born in 1991) is an award-winning artist of the younger generation from Kraków. She paints portraits of women in seemingly mundane situations. They reflect the artist’s internal disquiet, which is a reaction to the politicised reality that surrounds us, particularly addressing the challenges faced by contemporary women. Jabłońska’s art is a lively expression of colour that draws in the viewer. Her pictures refer to the works of Henri Rousseau, Edvard Munch and Paul Gauguin.

The painting will be composed of four 250 cm x 190 cm panels to create a tetraptych of 250 cm x 760 cm. It is to be composed in such a way that it can be displayed with each panel forming a corner or in a single line.

‘Jars 2024’ will in a visual layer refer to the latest work of Jabłońska, the dominant motifs of which are the kitchen, cooking, jams and pickles. Simple associations and foods that we all know are a lure for the public but underneath the everyday scenes hide sociological metaphors, camouflaged front page news and the artist’s own musings.
This work is certain to become a strong symbol and a recognisable artistic work for the city’s public space with the opening to all of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw from October 2024.
